2009 Fall Symposium for First Year Arts Educators

Saturday, October 31, 2009, Iowa State University – Music Hall, Ames, Iowa  MAP

This free Symposium is designed for 1st and 2nd year Teachers of the Fine Arts:  General Music, Vocal, Band, Orchestra, and Visual Arts.  All the sessions are centered around topics that are important to first year teachers such as "If I Knew Then, What I Know Now", "Managing the Classroom", and "Differentiated Instruction", and a panel discussion from 2nd and 3rd year teachers on "How I Survived My First Year of Teaching."

All fine arts teachers at any point in their career may attend.

Registration 9:30-10:00 AM
Sessions 10:00 AM-4:00 PM

Complimentary Lunch will be provided.

Mileage for 1st teachers will be reimbursed.
