Who Deserves All-American Recognition from Your Band?

Your marching show is on the field. You know which juniors are your best marchers. Now is the time to nominate those students for All-American consideration!

Nominate your best marching musicians for the 2011 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band by January 15, 2010.

This amazing, all-expenses-paid opportunity spotlights the nation's best marching musicians. Nominate your juniors now to start the process of their consideration.

Students ultimately selected as All-American musicians are flown to San Antonio to work with some of the nation's most respected marching music educators. Airfare, hotel, food, instruments, uniforms, and rehearsal gear are provided as students rehearse for and perform at the 2011 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Students nominated by active MENC members will receive, at no charge, a U.S. Army All-American Nominee certificate acknowledging their accomplishment. Certificates will be sent directly to MENC members so they can publicly recognize their exceptional marching musicians. Audition instructions will be included with the certificates.

The 2011 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band Nomination Form and nominee criteria can be found on menc.org's Band section along with 2010 Band progress and 2009 photos and student profiles.

Nomination deadline: January 15, 2010.
