IOWA JAMFEST SERIES
The Iowa JamFest Series is a collective of outdoor or indoor concerts across the state hosted in regional areas of Iowa (e.g., Northwest, Southeast).

- To provide a performance opportunity for school music groups that don’t have a regular performance venue other than their school and community
- To showcase school music achievements that otherwise are limited to their school or community.
- To reflect the musical culture of the region. Each concert will and should be different.
- To provide a performance opportunity that is inclusive to all students, regardless of ability.
APPLY TO HOST A JAMFEST
Must be a current member of Iowa Music Educators Association
Hosting an Iowa JamFest:
- Hosts need to be a IMEA member.
- Hosts need to apply online
- Hosts need to have a proposed location, date and list of possible schools that might participate.
Hosting schools receive a one-time $2000 for equipment and operating costs and $500 for annual operating costs after the first year.
